This house is located uphill of Vista Grande’s upper phase overlooking the city. The site is surrounded by residential buildings but it wont disrupt the wonderful vistas because of the terrain which maintains view of the city on one side and the mountain side on the other. Both sides of the land are neighbor’s houses. The design approach for the house is to have adequate spaces, easily accessible, views and to meet the owner’s requirements, which result in a 3-storey building. To bring natural light and good ventilation, the house is designed with deep cantilever balconies, which creates enough shade to make a good atmosphere for living, dining areas and bedrooms. The balcony was planned to overhang which blur boundaries between house and street. So this house got not only harmony to its surroundings but also retain wonderful vistas of the city and mountainside.
